Could be Tigriopus californicus aka tigger pods. Have you dosed "pods" at all? Or gotten corals/rock/etc from a tank that's been dosed?
Either way, the population boom will subside when the available nutrients diminish. Or if they're tigger pods, they're cannibalistic and after the food is gone, eat each other...
 
I've never doused any pods before, buts it's a possibility that I may have purchased something from a tank that has been doused previously. I find this annoying because I need to use the magnet to clean the back of the tank, but I dont want to kill all of the critters.
