You left out the original...
The original standard oil got busted by anti-trust action. The spin offs got nationalized in some foreign countries. If you want to get picky ConocoPhillips is a descendant from the original standard oil.

Montgomery wards closed everywhere about 7 or 8 years ago. They made the original building in ft worth a hoidy toidy little shopping area and condos.
