hey guys, im a newb here in the forums but been in the game for about 6 years now.
I just got married and moved my set up to the new place.
So.... here's what i have so far.
I have a 40 gallon with about 22lbs of live rock.
I have a:
-Maroon Clown
-Tomato Clown
-Blue Tang
-Yellow Tang
-Clown Trigger
-4 lined Damsel
-Cleaner Shrimp
-Coral Beauty
-A few hermit crabs.
I feel that something is missing, but i do not know what to get next. Any suggestions?
Thanks guys...

IMO these tangs and trigger need to be in a way bigger tank. and you should never mix clown speicies cause they will usually fight, but sometimes they will be fine. O, and welcome to SWF.com

yeah i know.... they are all pretty small, just the angel is a tad bigger than the other ones and the trigger is the smallest one in the tank. (baby)
I failed to mention, but im setting up the 80 gallon next, it should be up withing a week or so.

yeah....a 150G tank....
that blue tang needs to get out of the 40...small or not...and will not work in an 80G either
Do your clowns fight....those are 2 mean ones you have there

clown trigger

Get rid of the damsel before it kills everything and takes a bite out of you
I would not put anything else in there...

It's not the amount of fish.....it's the TYPE of fish
Blue tangs get pretty big....I have one in my 225G, and I could not imagine it in a smaller tank....
Even the yellow tang is close to max size in the 80G (IMO) it will be okay depending on what you put in with it

IMO, your fish-mix is a disaster just waiting for the fish to grow a bit. As they mature, the clowns will not tolerate each other. One will certainly kill the other. The clown trigger will eat the hermits and the shrimp; then turn into one of the most vicious fish in the hobby. An 80 gal isn't big enough for any tang, much less 2; and nowhere big enough for a grown clown trigger. As the fish mature, just the stress will eliminate the coral beauty. Cramped quarters=stress=aggression. Also: I assume you have additional bio-filtration. A 40 gal tank with only 22#LR and with way too many fish must have an ammonia problem, unless there is more bio-filtration. I'd really suggest you do some real research. If not, I apologize, but this thread almost sounds like someone just having fun with us.
