what to do about a leather...please i need help

ok my leather was doing great and now everyday since its been in the tank it starts to come out lesss and less. now today when i came home from work there was a mucuss on it so i brushed it off and left itto see what happened can anyone tell me what goin on? i really dont want it to die cuz when its fully out itsvery nice looking. thanks for any advise.

thanks i hope thats what it is any other sugfgestions? what will it look like if its dieing?

If it's dieing then it won't open up in a couple days.

Mine is starting to slough off again. The first time it happened I just knew it was dead but then after a week or so it was just as pretty as ever. Hopefully that's all yours is doing.

When my leather "sloughs its skin" it seems to come back bigger like that's how it grows. Is that how leathers grow?

Mine also comes back larger. I'm new at this so it seems perhaps this is at least one way in how they grow.

yea when i came home from golfing today he was opened up but not fully but at least hes out now im happy:joy:
