Yes you don’t have to leave much in your tank once you start the cycle. What are you using for a substratum now?

yea i want it to look nice. Once everything is good and cycle is over i will add black clown in there. Maybe 1 or 2 corals, easy to take care of types of corals.
I plan on buying 28g nano cube in december, trying to get a good deal on it.

I might have a problem again. Yesterday i added a shrimp and today water is not clear, look's like bit muddy or something. Also, ammonia level went up a lot too. Everything else seem's to be normal. Should i do water change now? and when do i need to take out shrimp and leave small piece in there?

if the ammonia level went up ,take the shrimp out and let the tank go .rotting shrimp will make the water cloudy.let it run the cycle

I'm not sure what i should do with tank. Add 1 black clown, 2-3 corals and snails/shrimps. OR add 2 smaller fish with 2-3 corals and snails/shrimps. I'm planning on adding a thin layer or sand (5lb bag).
