What's Easier To Maintain

was sup yo! got a question on what is easier to maintain. a fish only tank or a reef tank? how about the size of the tank? 30gal and below or 30 gallons and up to whatever? how about the fish species? whatever, give me a holla

Hey there. They each have their challenges. I prefer reef tanks because the inhabitants do most of the work for me. I think the larger the better but a small complete system is better than a large system that you ran out of money on.

so then could a fish only tank consist of live rocks and sand and fish? wait..hold on... what is the definition of live rocks and sand. as far as i know, they are both lifeless and not in motion! unless i'm wrong. so the fine line between reef tanks and fish only tanks is the corals right? need lots of help from everyone. can i make a fish only tank look like a reef tank with those "fake" corals that the LFS have on their counters?
