OK guys, or girls...Your wife, or husband cooks you dinner..tries something new...
You don't like it..
Do you....eat it anyway
Kindly tell the truth
OR THROW IT AT HER
I will tell you from experience...My first husband would throw anything he didn't like at me and accuse me of trying to poison him...LOL...(I should've)
My 2nd husband will eat WHATEVER I make regardless...
BUT .....I would rather know the truth...kindly...If we don't know how will we know not to make it again.....
SO WHAT DO YOU DO?

most of the time she thinks i am being mean or something or harsh i dont know how to explain it. but if you ask me a question ill give you my answer lol be it what you wanna hear or not, i call it like i see it.

Good thing!

I can never tell someone that their food tastes bad. I will choke down a few bites and say that I wasn't that hungry.
Not if you're a guest....BUT if it's your spouse...I was making this chicken dish for years before my current husband let it slip that he didn't care for it......I mean I made it WEEKLY...

In a case like that I'd rather know

Yeah, I have said something before in a kind way. I told him it was good for what it was but just not my thing. Luckily out of ten years of marriage I only had to taste his concoctions a few times and he was rarely sober enough to remember if he ate it all or we both had some

That is hilarious that your husband ate something that he didn't like all that time before he said something!

I'd rather be told the truth and my husband *says* he feels the same. Truth is he's an amazing cook and does the majority of the cooking here...there's only been one time that I can recall that he made something I really couldn't stomach. And I didn't have to worry about saying a thing, because apparently the look on my face spoke volumes lol.
Now if it was a situation where I was a guest in someone's home, I would do my best to smile and feign enjoyment. :p

+ 100....There is no need to be subtle when in a relationship. If it tastes like crap, speak up. Chances are, they knew it it tasted like crap before it was ever served. And I'm not talking about women here. I do probably 40/60 cooking with my wife, and it goes both ways. The only things I make that she turns a nose up at involve deer and squirrel (can't seem to slip those in very often
)

If I were to fry it, you would not know the difference between squirrel and KFC. I'd bet my tank on it....

It's all in the mind....

No way. Squirrel = rat with fluffy tail.
Rats eat turd, they can be found in every sewer in the World. Squirrels eat nuts, and are only found in the forest. There is no comparison....It's in the mind....
