Whats the best lighting...

I am planning on turning my 60gal into a reef tank. and I was wondering what is the best lighting for a reef tank?

I have JBJ Formosa lighting now and i like it a lot put If I had it to do over i would get a Metal Halide / Power Compact combination.

It's hard to beat MH for reef lighting.

What type of lighting should I have for my future refugium?

For refugium lighting whatever is cheap & efficient to run will work. Stay away from incandascent though.
