has anyone ever had Kudos? They're snack bars, but they're like little pieces of heaven!
I steal three boxes of these every time we go to my parents' house. Oh the yumminess.

I'm glad this thread took off like it did!
recently my hubby discovered the greatness of salt & vinegar chips... this is how he described his first experience to me:
"so my buddy chris gets these salt & vinegar chips every day for lunch, and he asked me to try one. i was like 'no thanks!', but he insisted so i did. at first i was like :scared: wtf is going on in my mouth??? :scared: :scared: :scared: , but after the inital shock wore off, i realized they're awesome!!!" lmao!
Oh no! not salt and vinegar!!
JD!!! now you're all British and there's no way to save you

i used to hide the boxes from my sisters so they would think they're gone, and then i'd sneak them off to eat them in my room...

LoL, no offense taken :eek:) I lived with a bunch of Brits for a year - I even managed the learn the differences in accents from Liverpool, London, Manchester.... well, the Manchunians are like, deafeningly obvious, but the rest are pretty subtle. I went to visit some of my friends in England too - GORGEOUS country. I would LOVE to go back there. Oddly enough, the only part about the trip I didn't like;
the food

onions are disgusting. I hate them so much that it induces a physiological reaction.
Oxtail soup is something I don't even want to think about...
I did love the shepherd's pie. and Yorskire pudding's yummy too - scones r fabulous, but not orginaly British. Fish and chips are also delicious, but Ruby's cafe makes them better than any I'd had in England.
As for "pubs..." I've got an insulin resistance. No drinky-drinky for the MimzyWhimzy.
Let's face it; England is famous for scenery, sports, and history. NOT food.

The best thing to come out of Britain is Newcastle Pale Ale. If you like beer and haven’t tried it I highly recommend getting a 6 pack.
England is really famous for its history, bad teeth and saving Europe from the Germans.

For the entire country of England you listed approximately 5 foods. I could list twenty in less than 2 minutes from right here in the U.S. that are awesome.
