1.Scrapping Coraline off the side and front glass daily!!

2.This one little spot of Hair that always grows in just one of my batches of Zoa's

3. The wife calling my tank "That Endless Money Pit" to anyone that will listen to her!!!!

4. The electric bill, with 400 watts here, 350 another spot, a few more hundred watts someplace else etc.

Mine is hair algae and my skimmer, damn thing keeps clogging making little bubbles.

All of mine I have battled at one time or another, that seemed like a loosing battle. Eventually all things come to an end.
Only one that I haven't won yet is the money issue.

I also have this algae. It's brown with a rubbery texure that covers the rock, forms cups around coral, and sometimes has a white fuzzy texture. It's a real PITA. Nobody really seems to know a whole lot about it, but someone suggested emerald crabs

. It's not diatoms.

My tank can never seem to get past ALMOST clean. There is always a little algea somewhere. I'm sure that is common, though.

yea that is a nice tank. Mine is trying to find a pepermint shrimp.....for my aiptasia. Had one ate all my aiptasia then dissapeared. now i can't freaking find one to buy for my new aiptasia.
