Yeah, I enjoy me some jewish food... at least most of it. Love fried matzoh, gefilte fish (covered with horseradish), matzoh ball soup, potatoe latkes (with sour cream, NEVER apple sauce).
Though I don't like some of the hard-core stuff... kishke, creamed herring, koogle (sp?).
Then there are the jewish food that have become pretty universal, such as bagel-lox-cream cheese, brisket, corned beef on rye with russian dressing.
ok, ur allowed not to like the kishke, and the cream and pickled herring is also on my poopy-list, but KUGLE???? how can you not like KUGLE??? dude. there are hundreds of thousands of kugle recipes. My father makes an unbelievably amazing light and fluffy sweet kugel with marscapone cheese and cinamon and raisins and secret ingredients that turns me into a 3foot high 4yr old in pigtails EVERY time OH MY GAWD.
And my Mom makes the most AMAZING potato kugel that, when smothered in the gravy from her also AMAZING brisket, is THE most delicious thing on a fork.
...her spinach Kugel is also amazing.....
Dude. I think u've just never had GOOD kugel.
