you're preachin' to the choir, meowie (as Renee refers to you).
BTW, she left out the 5th tank in our bedroom...the little FW setup for feeder guppies and ghosties.

We have a combo dining room/family room. So you can see the tanks from both areas.
120 SW--dining room
29 SW--in the middle of the dining room/ family room
30 FW + 7 FW--daughter's room
10 FW--son's room
5 FW, betta tank--master bedroom
Now the hubbie wants a mantis tank too! We need a bigger house!

Mine is in wall with the front facing the living room and the back sitting in its own room where I joined 2 closets and turned a spare bedroom into a fish room where all the equipment and fish stuff is kept..

Old shot of the back before I finished working on it:

Your very fortunate. This IMO is the perfect setup! It gives meaning to the words Display Tank. Nothing is seen but the beauty...

I have kinda a similar setup to nigerbang's
I got my 90 gallon and quickly decided i didnt like it filling up alot of my living room, plus I had to look at the back whenever i was in the dining room. So i promptly cut a 4' hole in the wall of my living room that seperates my house from the garage, built a huge stand, added a sump and relocated everything. Soon after that I found that the garage is no place for fish as it gets colder in there and with my snowmobiles starting and stuff i was afraid of contaminating the water. Not to metion my son threw a banana in the sump. (lucky it wasnt something alot worse) So i built an 8' wide by 5' deep room into the garage around my tank. added insulation for heat retention and a sound barrier. threw a Qt tank and all my goodies in and now I have a dedicated fish room but still get to view from the living room.
Havn't finished triming the front yet :(

Finish it up and get us those pictures because it sounds great!

Can't forget them....I use to have a 10G, 5G, and 1 1/2G FW in my bedroom.....I had lots of mollys
and that is where I kept the cichlid babies
Then I gave them to Mom-In-Law....and decided I did not need the tanks in my bedroom too...
You guys have A LOT of tanks....and you have to "special" feed your guys...

I am also thinking of a dedicated fish room. I have a decent sized spare bedroom, that contains 1 chair and ottoman where I read and play guitar. It is large enough to do my dream tank. I would like to do something like a 180 wide, peninsula style with front and back viewing. Then just leave my chair in there, maybe add some paint or a rug or something and be set.
For now I have
1 55 gal reef in the living room (6ish months old)
1 55 gal reef in the home office (over 1 year old)
I would most likely get rid of the living room tank but leave the office tank up. It gives my boyfriend something to look at when he is listless at work.

My 90 gal is in, if you can call it this in my house, the formal dinning area. You can get your grub on while the fish watch. They think we are pigs.
The 8 gal is looking for a home. I think it will make it to the great room next to my fly tying table. Maybe they will speak secrets of the fish to me there?

I have 2 in the kitchen. One is a 12g SW on my desk by the computer and one is a 24g SW taking up space instead on a kitchen table. Both I can see while on my computer. I have a 37g SW tank in the entry way of my house. I can see it from my living room couch, plus I every one sees it when they come into the house.

mine is still a work in progress but it is up and running. 2ft wide sits in the middle of the kitchen and living room wall. half the tank in the living room half the tank in the kitchen. Here's a pic with no canopy yet to enclose it.
