Where to find valves

Does a big hardware or home improvement store have different ball valves, or check valves? Do you have to order them from an aquatic store?

find a good plumming store they will have a better selection than home depot, or lowes

Check out your local landscape irrigation company for PVC ball valves and other fittings in the 1/2 to 3" range.

I got my valves from Ace. IMO they are of good quality.
