I was in gym class, and this kid was listening to the radio, when the report that the towers were hit I remember that I thought it was a joke because I was onlt in the 6th grade and I didn't think that anyone would do that.

I think if we had learned and acted on what happened at the World Trade Towers the first time OBL attacked it....

I had just gotten off of work. For some reason I got up and turned on TV just in time to see the 2nd plane hit. I was trying to arrange to get on a Life Flight helicopter to help evacuate the wounded. One of the F-16's out of Toledo I think flew right over my house at about 1000 feet just below mach 1. Scared the stuff right out of me.

And God Bless George Bush! Kick their A--'s "W"!!!

I hate to say it, but leveling Afghanistan and getting rid of the Taliban made me feel better.
Because it was like someone coming up behind you, whacking you in the head and disappearing.
Something like this needed and response. I'm not for war by any means, but no ones gonna do something like this and get away with it.

I was working from home writing system requirements based on Siebel 7 software when I recieved a phone call telling me that it happened and that a friend of mine was on the plane that hit tower 1.
Later that day as I sat stunned I got an email that a co-workers wife was in the the 2nd tower.
I was also in NYC during the blackout last summer, the fear that overtook the residence was something that I will never forget. I cant imagine living wondering if the lights go out if it is another attack and not just to much use on ConEd.
Life has never been the same since. Although it is nice to see the flag as a normal part of the scenery and not something that the old man next door puts out all the time.
I thank god each night for the boys that die for this country in their quest. I just wish they were old enough fo me to buy them a beer.
God Bless America and may all the souls rest in peace
