I personally don't have one but the research I have been doing
points to the IceCap 660, of course this does depend on the size
of your tank but this seems to be the most versatile, price is $150-$175.

I had a Coralife once but when it died I went Icecap and never looked back(although the Coralife one comes prewired for a 4 bulb setup so that was kinda nice).

I can get you the VHO ballasts at reduced price. Depending on size I can get you started with a 36" 2 bulb unit for about $95 plus shipping, a 3 bulb up to 440 watts for about $130 plus shipping, or a single ballast 4 bulb 440 watts for about $150 plus shipping. Can also get you a good deal on bulbs but need to know what you want.

You would need the three bulb harness and the 440 watt ballast for $130 plus shipping. The ballast brand name is ARO.

I run 3 72" 160 watt bulbs on all of my 660's. They will easily handle the 5 foot bulbs.

I only run 2x110 VHO's on my system (lots of MH's) for the price of the Aro ballast (35.00) its really hard to beat.

There are several websites that sell pretty much any ballast you need. I don't remember the names off hand, but with some research on Google you will find lighting places that sell VHO ballast without paying aquarium prices.

If you want Ice Cap but can't swing the cost price out a URI A4 ballast. It is a lower cost version of the Ice Cap 660 but if you don't save at least 40 bucks on the deal I'd geat the real thing.
