I've had comcast since 2004 and haven't had any problems. It seems to me you get the best deals when you get a package (phone/net/cable). I have the internet and cable package. Its $150 a month for high-speed internet, 2 cable tvs, and 1 digital cable tv with DVR, HBO, and Encore
Do you call comcast every time your promo runs out? If not, you should. Call the cancellation department and ask for a promo. Your $150 bill can easily be $60-$70 for the exact same packages, just takes a phone call.

I tried calling the comcast to have my rate lowered from 210/mon when my promo ran out. I talked to a chick that was nasty.

Come on now, what's wrong with michigan besides that roads and the weather. lol
I had direct tv to, for hd and sports it was great. The price was just a bit much for me.

haha...i hate the roads...i forget which i drive when i go up there every now and then, but its just ridiculous...i mean why in the world do we need roads that make you bounce up and down every second...and not just hole type bouncing..but wavy up and down junk...talking about getting sea sick on the road, lol. I can live with the weather, i love snow

I decided to go with direct tv...dish tried to tell me i needed to pay 450 in equipment costs and thats too much for me...i had them one day through att...and they tried to take me to collectors for 900 saying i didnt return equipment...i thought well i'll try again and see if theyll work with me, but that was a big NO...so come saturday we'll have direct

Had Directv, Comcast, settled with Verizon Fios. Gotta love the fiber optics. Computers faster, too.
Ditto. I realize its not an option for everyone though.
I've had mixed results with cable. Good results with Time Warner, hated Cablevision.
