Flake food is a terrible thing to to to a reef tank.

I use the ocean one when I'm lazy. I mix it up with brine/mysis and on occasion pellet with spiraluna.
I would agree frozen is better -- but I use flake when I'm lazy or just run out of time in the day.

I agree with Bang Guy on this one. I quit feeding flake foods about a year ago. Feed enriched brine shrimp or mysis for carnivores and nori sheets for algae eaters...

I am anti flake also, I feed Pellet when I am in a rush. Also I am switching from Ocean Nutrition to Hikari pellet. Half the flake just gets sucked down the overflows and it is much messier than pellet, breaks down fast and is hard for your CUC to consume

Do either of you add anything to your frozen foods even if they say enriched on them??
Feed frozen mixed foods. Don't bother with mysis and brine. There is no nutrition in brine, even if it is "enriched", there is scarcely more nutrition in mysis. Buy combination foods, or make your own. Dose with a rotation of Vitachem and Zoecon.

May I ask: What is the difference between Selcon, Vitachem and Zoecon??

Selcon and Zoecon are virtually the same product, made by different companies. Their composite makeup is a touch different here and there, but the main objective is to supplement amino acids, Omega 3's, lipids, etc. Vitachem, and similar product, Zoe, also supplement fats, though not as well, but they have a bit more vitamin/nutrients then Selcon/Zoecon.
