Which uv sterilizer?

Most people would probably assume that the pros outweigh the cons. I've seen people with UV's on their reefs with huge pod populations, etc, so I think it would be more of a benefit than not - but I've never used one, so I can't really defend it.

Less population is less pollution. They don't kill the pod population like many think they do. They will control it, but will not wipe it out. Your pod population lives in your rocks, not in your water column. Yes the UV will affect the pod population to some degree, but in any large tank, you really will not notice it.
