What is it? It's only on one fish and it just started today. I also noticed that my clownfish are also not swimming together today. Whats going on? The fish w/out the white is staying near the bottom and flapping his finsh really fast while in place...water levels are normal except nitrate, which is 20 but it is in the okay range. PLEASE HELP!

what do you mean by film. if it is white and like little speks its ick. if its on the outline of the fins like bloches of different size its a fungus.

Okay so my one fish just died and now the other is acting funny! I took out the live one, do I let the dead one get eaten(my peppermint shrimp was taking it) or do I take it out! I'm so upset!

definetly take it out. do you have pics because that stuff is mostlikely still in your tank and ready to find a new host.

yes but it is just over all not good for a tank to have a dead fish in it. i would still trake a pic of the dead fish to try and see if the stuff is still on ther so we can identify.
If you scroll up you'll see it was already identified by Bang Guy. The fish is out.
