white slug?

There was this white spot on my rock a couple days ago, and I thought it was just a piece of the rock that I had never seen before.. But then today I notice it was on the back of my tank. ITs a white blob.. very solid color.
Anyone know what this is? Is it harmful? He's about 34 an inch long...
No pics till I get my camera back saturday..

About 6 months ago i bought a coral from the lfs. I noticed that there were little white slugs with little antennas on it. Also noticed a few on my glass. Well i waited to long to remove them and they ate that coral, and luckily i got them out before they did any more damage. Also a few weeks after removing the last one i could find there was a second batch of the same coral eating slug (babies) that i removed also.

Yea... it did show up right after I had bought a new LPS.
It's an ugly thing. I'll remove it when I can!

I use to have the same thing you have described. I wish I still had the pictures. I posted themand asked or an ID and was told the item was safe and actually benefitial. I never saw any coral damage and never lost any of my livestock and I had alot fo them. Seemed to keep the glass cleaner and the algeas to a minimum. Maybe you have something different.
