I have to agree, the inspiration was good, loved the ideas but the way the fish are just thrown in was not the best idea. I wonder how many of those fish made it past 4 days or so. I also did not like the way big boy was handling that puffer fish. What did he think it was a
squishy ball? Not a good thing for the puffer to inflate like that!
However, they did not go into details regarding the cycle of the tank either so who knows. True, no live rock, inverts and some of those fish were butterflys, really? Hmmmmm
I thought maybe there would be some sort of education regarding the new tanks.
I will continue to watch only because of the creativity and hope they improve on the education and well being of the occupants of these new beautiful tanks. JMO
On another note, my fear of this is of coarse some folks thinking they can do this with fish, wether fres or salt water. Like 101 Dalmations or finding nemo, people went out and bought these animals without first researching and reading up these fish or Spankos book of cycling the tank. May be great for the industry but you will get a large population failing and giving up the hobby.
I agree with you, even though I didn't see them cycling the tank, I think that they just didn't go into the details or what not and just show the "highlights"...
I also wonder how many times the fish made it past a couple of days... and also I was so mad when he held the puffer... .
