It was filmed right here in Cleveland. Many kids from our school were in the movie as extras. That kid in the mall who "likes the easter bunny" was my brothers friend.

The house in the movie is on West 11th street, and we lived on West 46th street back then.:)

Saltymom, nobody around here seems to make much of a deal about it. I don't think the whole thing was filmed here, but a lot was. The house is vinyl sided and gets no attention from fans as far as I know....it's actually NOT a very nice area to visit if you know what I mean. TONs of crack dealers on the street and whatnot, but as you may have noticed, they left that out of the movie.:D There are lots of beautiful old houses there, but of course they go for nothing because of the area. A 30,000 dollar house there, would cost 250,000 somewhere else. I hope that doesn't disappoint you, but that area isn't very nice, and you wouldn't want to be walking around at night. It's a VERY poor area, and it's alot worse now than when we lived in Cleveland.
Not too many movies get filmed here, but my aunts house was seen in the movie "the deer hunter".

That's one of my favorites! I watch it every year, hard to avoid, it airs on tv every Christmas. :D
I feel his pain when he unravels the secret decoder. Been there, done that.
