Who's drinking prune juice?

I just found out that I'm anemic. Last Friday I stayed in our clinic because of dizziness and vomiting. My blood pressure is 80/60. I've read that prune juice has iron, the taste is tolerable but it tastes awful

Did you find out through a basic blood test? If it was done by a doc, he should have prescribed something. You are young so I don't know what your BP should be. If you aren't having a bleeding problem and iron

aren't right for you, I can give you SUGGESTIONS of what to eat to help but I am no doctor. But I will help all I can.

Don't they make an iron pill?
Personal opinion...drinking prune juice tastes better than liver, but not by much.
Be careful..too much prune juice and you will need to go back to diapers.

If you're anemic, you should have been given a prescription... bottom line. I'm anemic and a simple iron pill and watching what I eat is all I need. Depending on how bad your anemia is, a daily vitamin can usually fix the problem. Prune juice comes with other side effects, like lots of bowel movements, which can actually be bad for severe anemia cases.

There are many different levels of anemia.... not all require p.ills, just a diet modification.
I'd be concerned with giving medical advice to under age peeps. Diet suggestions. Sure. P.ill suggestions... leave that to the adults in their life.

How did you even figure out the missing word was p ills? I agree, why would they block that word? Never mind, she edited her post.
I didn't realize the OP was a child. Think about it... prune juice tastes pretty good compared to liver. Perspective is everything.
