The thing with the favia, was the size. It probably had 200 heads on it. It was a small fortune, but still better then what's out there. A certain WYSIWYG site has one identically colored, but it's only 2 1/2". Mine was easily 5" across.

yeah, favias arent the cheapest.i got a meteor favia its like a green and light green color. its nice..

that pic kills the color. so much. its rigid at the top cus i cut it apart so icould have some for my pico.

nice collection you have there.
that last pic, the one you said you saved.. wow that is nice for a freebie. acan brain has a nice orange color it looks like.

Thanks, That favia is known as the infamous garbage can favia in Atlanta. When the vendors were setting up, one of them threw away some dead stuff in the water buckets. I looked down and saw it still had a little green in the heads. The rest was all skeleton. I was Like I bet I could save that coral. Everybody else was like "no way its a gonner". I took that as a challenge LOL. Here we are a year later
. It was a small frag when I rescued it.

yeah it was a pretty serious crash. you8 can see the cyano bloom thats following on the tail end of the crash. but such is life. I'm doing an unusual amount of waterchanges and other maintinence to try and compensate for the disaster.
