WHY???????? (a short rant)

Why when I ask my boss a SIMPLE QUICK question I NEED answered he needs to tell me over the course of 20 minutes EVERYTHING going on that doesn't pertain to me or the question I NEED answered? Seriously if a person could slip into a coma from a simple question

LOL....Don't you love it...a lot of times when I ask the preacher at the church I work for a question I get..."And that reminds me of a story.....

Makes me wish I was on an island with just my family (the only ones that I never get annoyed by) and I could snorkel and eat seafood everyday

Then I wake up from my day dream and realize the ocean is roughly 2000 miles any which way I start driving.

because bosses are inconsiderat and if it has nothing to do with them, they dont give a flying rats but. i am sorry for being negative but this recession brings out the worste in bosses.

That's what makes them managers!!

There are a number of people in my office that I avoid if at all possible just because of this. A quick question turns into a 30 minute disertation. Our VP of Finance is the worst. He gets all acountant-y on me and starts explaining tax laws and general ledger codes to me when I ask him if I can buy just about anything.

i think mine try this to get away from the original question... like when my co-workers and i why every other company in the world pays an overnight differential we dont get one... took 3 meetings and and two of the store managers bosses to get the answer.. and it wasnt much of one... lol...

Recession doesn't affect my job at all.. he's just got to say the same thing 400 different ways until honestly, you forget why you started talking to him in the first place... and its not a discussion -- you just sit and listen.... sometimes I wonder if he would notice if I just hung up or walked out (which I've been known to do when people talk AT me)

Simple, send him a TWITTER or TEXT,, that should cut down on the worthless chatter... Of course unless he has a QUERTY KEYBOARD... then your up shuts creek without a paddle....
