My only clown vanished overnight. Gone. No trace. he was about inch long, and his only moving tank mate was a fire shrimp. There's a LTA as well that he managed to stay away from, and the shrimp never seems to care that he was there either. I have an 8g biocube, and checked the back filter sections in case he jumped back there, but didn't see him at all.
sooo... did my anemone and shrimp team up on the little guy? Its a fully covered tank! where did he go?!?!

Before I went to bed he was swimming around like normal and hasn't seemed to be acting anything out of the ordinary. I had him for 2 years before getting the cube. I checked under and behind as best I could without disturbing anything, but did not see anything.

No body on the floor, no skeleton that the CUC is nibbling on...I would absolutely say yes to the LTA being the fish eater...I had a very beautiful one...it ate 4 fish and now I don't have the LTA anymore. Fish, well except for the yellow wrasse has stopped vanishing without a trace.

How big is the LTA???
the base in the sand is a little bigger than a quarter, the arms are about 2.5-3 inches fully spread (diameter).
My only powerhead is a koralia nano and its definitely not stuck in it! There isn't anything on the sand, no scales, bones, meaty pieces and the water was crystal clear. I am going to move my rocks tonight and see if I can find anything. I didn't want to this morning because my anemone crab molted and I don't know where it is!

HE IS ALIVE!!!!!!

Poor fellow must have gotten spooked and jumped into the bio ball tray in the middle of the wet/dry section. Luckily there is a good amount of flow and he was able to stay wet and breathing. I was searching around and heard a little splash, then squeezed my head and saw a little head and eyes looking back at me. I got so excited that he was alive!!! Now that he is back in the water, you can tell that he's a lot happier. The dorsal fin however looks like its stuck down. I think it may have been exposed to the air all day, does anyone think this will cause him any problems?
