No doubt on the kid statistic...100% agree. But personally, if it were me, it wouldn't matter if it was just a one time thing...It's Over!
Not sure if I mentioned this little tid bit before, or that it really makes a difference in the conversation here, but these two couples were "best friends". He with him, and her with the guy's wife. Just adds insult to injury, but just thought I would throw that out. In talking with him today, I picked up on the fact that he was repeatedly blaming himself, for letting this happen. He showed no disrepect or ill will towards his wife, just really down on himself for allowing this to happen. No matter what I tried to re-direct the cause to, he remained focused on getting his wife back and how he must of some way overlooked this coming.
I think this is one of those things you don't know what you'll do till it happens. Emotionally for me, I doubt I could ever return, however, logically, and family wise, I could potentially see the logic in not divorcing. If he is doing it for the kids, it is a very selfless thing to do.
Besides it is the way males are wired. We may hate each other, but once we beat the $#%$ out of each other, and he got arrested for it, we usually feel much better.

Ouch again! That does change things and yeah I can see why he was so pissed. I mean it is one thing if it is a total stranger, it seem totally different if they were good frineds. But then agian it almost seems like he is blaming the dude, like he is the one that seduced his wife. She still had to say yes to it though and he did not catch the guy by himself.

I would had killed both then cried and had regret afterwards I have the mentality. Isnt it okay to kill your spouse and her lover if you catch them in the act in Texas?

It depends, if the situation was flipped and it was a guy cheating. If he is in a brothel no, otherwise it is fair game.

Sorry it took me a bit to respond....Yes, I am a woman, lol
The answer about what was I going to do when I hit 40? If my se-x drive kicks in like it did when I was 17?? Oh Lord have mercy, I do not know. Maybe seek medication from the doctor? lol......I don't even know if they have that honestly. They got viagr-a and all that for low se-x drive but for too high?? Heck, that is most men's dream women.....or so they think until they have them, I suppose. More or less, I think you just develop more self-control as you get older and you are not as easily tempted. I know I am not for sure. Honestly the thought of the "one night stand" is not appealing to me at all anymore, whereas it used to be exciting to do that when I was 19.
