Corals dont move much, and they are colourful. Any difference between clams and coral?
Aside from the obvious!!

That is normally the first thing people talk about is the clams.I have always thought they were beautiful and would love nothing more than to have a "clam tank".I also like to show them off let people see them through the tank then from the top where it magically changes colors.

clams and corals are 2 different things, clams are invertibrates and are like normal clams, thye can move and they filter phytoplankton out of the water, they are like snails.
corals how every are well, corals they cant move they cant feel, they are composed of many organisms and not just one like clams, they are also not inverts.

At first i wasnt crazy about clams...but now l really like them. 1. because they have awesome colors and 2 because because there a little bit of a challenge...not like xenia or zoos or something...

kinda. theyre very light sensitive, so when they sense any danger they retract fast. other than that, its just like a picture hanging on a wall. its nice to look at and when you look real close, you see something you never noticed before.

i know wat ur saying but that is what I ment by Obivous.
corals are sesils but they do have movement through flow of the water and contracting. yes clams may move but how often. they are similar in the fact that they have fantastic colouration and the fact that one never moves and one hardly moves.
My point is that is there are many people fasinated with corals, is this facination any different from clams, considering the above point?? maybe i am wrong or maybe i cant explain where i am comming from.
but i definetly see why people have this fasination, and hopefully i to will be able to keep many in a display.
