Beautiful tank, very sorry that you are going to let it go. Are you sure that's your only option? As mentioned above, you will miss it, and regret isn't fun.
Let's not trash a jeep unless we own one :) Mine has always been good to me.

If I even lived remotely near you I would buy it in a second but I am over here in michigan.I'm sure you have checked all your options, but that is a shame. You have obviously put a lot of time and care into that tank. You do however definitely need to put a reserve on it though or someone could snatch it up for next to nothing. Also, my lfs will buy back any livestock for half of what they will sell it for- it sucks but you may be better off. One more thing- Lebowski before you give advice on jeeps/cars you need to get a license!"Jeeps rule-I've had 5 of them?" That is like me coming on here with no tank and giving you advice. No offence! Good luck danrw84-I hope you can make it work.

I was in the same boat a couple years ago...Needed money, and needed it bad! I ended up selling my 50 gallon reef that I had over a grand in, not counting maintenence, or lighting, for $300. Atleast I'm able to afford the small 20 gallon Long I have now. I'm glad I atleast have that.
Sometimes when you need money, you have to make sacrifices, it's a shame you are sacrificing such a beautiful thing.
Thanks,
-David-

Big Mac, I live in cal and love my 4x4.
For those that dont know cal is one of the best states to have a offroad Rig. with the combo of the ocean, desert, and mountian ranges there is a never ending supply of trails, correction there is an end to them and if the sierra club has it there way we wont be able to drive on the roads let alone offroad, but dont get me started on that.

I feel your pain. You along wit me and I am sure others shar the pains of having to expensive hobbies, and eventually one will suffer because of the other, it is to bad that you have to go this as your only option.

Hondas get 200k and cheap to maintain LOL, I will never buy a honda again. I got 63k and needed a new motor, 54k computer relays, 51k brake booster, rotors, brakes, 49k water pump, 36,108k bad spindle & bearings(that cost me 2 grand) Honda Accord, don't believe the hype.
Sorry about the tank. You really should at least try to keep the equipment if you can't keep it all.

Sorry to hear about your finances, you gotta do what you gotta do. I just feel bad because you will never get back what you put in to it. I would love if you could send me a email of your daily and weekly list there that you say you have on a spread sheet? catalanoj@yahoo.com
Wish you luck!

Dan dont feel bad about the Jeep, my husband has one. It is currently in the garage getting a LS1 engine in it. This was the jeep that would need no work when I agreed to let him buy it. In the end this is going to cost more than my Excursion. I think our jeep is about 17K now and it goes up almost every week. But hell not everyone can have a scrambler.

Yeah it is. I love that thing Dockery. I used to have a grand cherokee with a Rancho lift and stuff. Man, that thing was the heat. I have a Tahoe now. But, you just can't go wrong with the old CJs. Or even the new ones. And dang it Dan. Sell blood... sell plasma... sell spe, you know what. Work a corner. But, don't sell your reef. And if you do... I bet you would get more money parting it out. For your nice specimens you could charge more, etc. But, I still say don't sell it. Get creative bro.

PS--- the amount you will probably get for the tank and everything else, probably wouldn't be significant enough to make it worth selling. Or make enough impact on your transmission bill. You know what Im trying to say.

I dunno, 5 days left, and it's already up to $710, I think we all might be surprised at what this goes for. I'd pay over a grand for it myself if i was in CA, just the Livestock is worth that much. Unfortunately I'm on the opposite side of the country.
Thanks,
-David-

I spent enough time under jeeps to technicaly qualify them as a second residence. What year is it? I think I remember you saying something about a tranny? If so are you doing the work yourself? Man we have to save your tank bro, it's to nice to let go.
