thanks. I do admit the Pack wasnt up to their game. But when the G-Men had those 3 and outs deep in Packers territory. Thats where the game was won. Even though we had good FG position and tynes missed 2, he pulled thru in the end. Great game!

congrats to the giants, they played a good game and deserved the win. Not saying the Pack was playing their best though.

The temperature is going to be -5 degrees F on gameday. Windchill puts the temp at -28 degrees F. With weather that cold it is nearly impossible to throw and kick. Throwing too hard can break a finger. So, the game will be all about the run game. Giants have a phenomenal power running game with Brandon Jacobs, and a bit more agility with Ahmad (sp?) Bradshaw. The packers defense lets up an average 103 rush yards a game. The giants let up an average of 97 per game. Close numbers, however, the Packers rush an average of 98 yards per game. The giants rush an average of 134 per game.
So, in a game that will be decided on defense and running the ball, the Giants have a nice size advantage over the Packers.
Oh, and the Giants have won 9 straight on the road. The Giants also have performed better and won in bad weather, however weather this cold destroys that stat.

I would have given you a "Nice Call" on this one, but looking at your avatar/logo, it seems your homerism was really the basis of your prognostication.
With that said, you were correct. Defense and running won it, and it was very hard to kick the ball!!
And a big "Congrats" to LTynes. He managed to save his job, while simultaneously avoiding death threats and hate mail for the rest of his natural life.
And maybe, JUST MAYBE, this will motivate Andy Reid to get the Eagles some help. Plaxico Burress was a STUD tonight. Big game wide receivers = NECESSITY!!
Now I hope the GMen show up against the Pats.

i dunno... pat's steamrolling over everyone came to a screaching halt a few weeks back (even vs the dolphins), and the giant's still have something to prove.
the ONLY thing i'll predict is this:
the superbowl is going to be ONE heck of a game, and i'll probably miss it cause my baby wants to come out a week early...
