I haven't gotten my first fish yet, but have heard that sometimes it might not work out. Dont take my word for it, but just what I have read.
It just all depends I guess.
I would like to know more about this too as well, cause I would like to get a pair of different clowns also.

If it's just the one picking on the other than you should be ok in the long run I believe. The picking is the asserting of dominance to keep the other male. Every once in awhile my black/white will get after my orange/white like that

that's what happened with mine. the little guy would swim closer and she would give him a nip to keep him a little bit away. she still does on occassion though usually only when he crashes into her

i thought that i remembered someone having a mating pair of percs in which one was a black/white.... i guess it must have just been a dark color morph or something. are bang guy's percs normal or dark?

If they are both Ocellaris Clowns and both have not changed into females yet then they will probably pair up.
