I was thinking a sand bed, not too deep of a sand bed...i say maybe 2 inches

I was gonna do micro alage such as cheato. It will be hagning from a 120.

I don't really see the point of the sand bed. Also, you do realize that 2 gallons is not enough for your 120?
Is there a reason you want it so small?

actually I relized I don't really need a the refuge, I'll just add soem cheato into my sump. Thanks for the replies
