Will Ozone Harm Beneficial bacteria ?

i have a 550G reef . just got a red sea ozone 100mg/l . my in sump skimmers are ozone compatible but they are just right before the ceramics and Seachem's Matrix where the beneficial bacterias are grown . if i hook up my ozone to my skimmer and put carbon at the part where it hits the media , will the bacteria get harmed ?

The complexities of ozone are too great to discuss it all in one thread. There are many options, benefits and detriments to using ozone - all of which you should weigh carefully. No....Ozone is commonly used, but must be used with caution, because to much will kill everything!!!!!!

I should have asked....do you have the ozone by RedSea with the controller or without a controller.....

its the one with the controller but with a different prob. but it still has the LED display .
my tank is 550G and the ozonizeris 100mg/l so according to some research i did the chances of nuking the tank or the room is slim to none , specially with a ORP prob
