Well, I've been watching the espn mnf coverage. And all they've been saying is how the eagles beat the cowboys in dallas, after the regular season was basically over. And romo did his yearly coast to the playoffs checkout. But no on has yet to say anything about the 'boys going into phili and scoring what 38 points. I'm getting sick of the cowboy hating on espn.

How did you team do?
Did you see the end of that chargers game. If I was a chargers fan...

I'm a Charger fan. Ahhhhhh!!!!!
Can't believe the bad calls (it was a fumble) and the "broken replay equipment". Give me a break. Other than that, it was a great game. Wish they were all that high scoring and exciting!

Hey, the Broncos pay a lot of money for the guy who turns off the switch for the replay equipment.

lol I'll take broncos win...i could have thrown my tv out the wall when cutler fumbled that, but to turn out and get a lucky bad call from the refs...get a touchdown, and then to try a 2pt conversion...lol...up and down up and down...but over cutler had another good game, 300+ yards and 4Tds...but they better learn to finish the game up better in the second half instead of playing great then dying in the second

I was at the local bar, (fwiw, new record, 59 wings, 7 pitchers of beer), so I didn't hear any of the game, but it was the best game, since a Bills Superbowl. Thoughts?

The cowboys game was pretty rediculous.

Great game last night...I can't call the Cowboys the best team in the league though, Romo is still prone to dumb errors and they are vulverable to a good downfield QB (like McNabb), Marion Barber is ridiculous though, maybe the best back in the league.....Eagles really impressed me on offense though, they are going to get better and better, they are really inexperienced but talented at WR, IMO they looked like the better team last night. NFC East is far far far and away the best division in the league.
Broncos are overhyped at 2-0
Cardinals are 2-0, but haven't beat anybody yet....They look really good in the passing game though. If they go to D.C. and beat the skins this week people will start talking about them.

And quit whining about how everybody picks on the cowboys Stdreb
ESPN critics every team, not just your precious Cowboys.

Just remember this is only romo's 2nd full season.

And did you watch the coverage last night, I'd might as well been listening to an eagles broadcast. It was an eagle love fest.
What really got me, is this, the Cowboys are basically established, 13-3. The eagles went 8-8 in a HORRIBLE season. And what did they say, the Cowboys needed to win and it didn't matter as much for the eagles.
Then we won't talk about them competing for McNabbs love child. The whole friggen game. McNabb made the play that really lost them the game by blowing a simple handoff. Yeah they are the better team.
This is my rant, the cowboys spotted them 14 points. the refs blew an early whistle which would have cost them a turnover and another 7. Lets not talk about the pass interference call when the eagles WR had the guy by the collar. And yet, after all that the cowboys still won.
And we aren't going to talk about the Eagles HORRIBLE special teams play. What is jones have 250+ yards of return yardage? There is very little way you walk out of there thinking the eagles are the better team.
A healthy team straight up wouldn't beat the cowboys.
On a nostagic side note, did anyone think about that play in AZ where emmitt tried to fling the ball out of the endzone, when romo handed them 7 points?

Awesome game... loved watching it even though I really didn't care who won. For the Cowboys, though, they have reached the level where it really doesn't matter what they do in the regular season. They will be judged by their playoff performance only.

As a cowboys fan, the regular season is fun, but if it doesn't result in a superbowl win, it was a failure.

Disagree about the broadcasting...Yes Jaws is a little pro-Eagle, the guy did play there pretty much his pro-career. But Kornhieser was gushing continously about the Cowboys and JJ, and the "Star power"...blah blah blah. You my friend are not in any way an unbiased observer of the game, I am because I hate both teams equally, I really dislike McNabb and his "the world is out to get me attitude", and I find Cowboy fans annoying as they have the same mentality....Yes moron DeSean Jackson was a bad call, but gimme a break, it was a TD with a bonehead play by an idiot, it was a big play given up by your slow secondary. There were questionable calls on both sides JUST LIKE IN EVERY GAME....Again, Philadelphia is inexperienced at receiver, they will only improve as the season goes on, and that game (in Dallas) could have gone either way.....Philly has a playoff tested and successful QB, until Romo proves he can win in the playoffs (same as Hasselback for a few years) I like Philly and NY over them.

umm, Not questionable calls that directly resulted in 2 touchdowns.
You can't deny that. A missed face mask call. VS 2 calls that put them on the one yard line.
I am curious, the "fabled" eagles WR that are hurt, vs a healthy dallas secondary.
And still, remember Romo has only started one full season, he is only going to get better.
BTW did you see that interview that they did with TO after the game, that poor guy didn't know what hit him. (It was a really good interview) Emmitt tore into him.

Tom Brady won a Superbowl in his first season as a starter, oh nevermind he wasn't even a starter then. I will give Romo a pass, but if he chokes in the playoffs for a 3rd year in a row, then it's an issue. See how good they are at Green Bay this week, should be a good one, surprised the opening line has Dallas a 3 point fav., guess Vegas isn't sold on Rodgers yet. Your missing the point on the fumble...It was a TD your crappy secondary gave up, don't complain about the call, worry about why Jackson beat 2 guys by 10 yards.
As far as the hurt Eagles receivers, forget em...DeSean maybe an idiot but he is far and away the most talented receiver McNabb has seen since TO, did you hear the stat? First WR to get 100 yards his first 2 games as a pro since like 1962 or something. I saw a lot of DeSean here in the Pac-10, dude has skills.

sadly i have to mute every game on ESPN. Those announcers want to have --- with brett favre. They have talked about him the past 2 weeks and he isnt even playing that night.

the best play of the night was when the eagles receiver dropped the ball on the 1,

Well, if we are going to compare Romo to brady you have some ridiculous shoes to fill. I'm not so in the take to think that is a good comparison. Seriously, not many other QB's have had the success that Romo has had at this stage of his career. Brady, is all I can think of.
If he does choke early in the play-offs, I don't think Wade will be here next year.
I still think if they had parcells discipline they'd have a superbowl ring. The giants were a joke last year. The Cowboys beat themselves last year not the giants.
A secondary is going to give up big plays. How bad did TO beat the healthy Eagles secondary?
This key is, if the refs had not blown the whistle that would have been dallas's ball. I don't remember who, but one of the guys who were beat, turns back around and started going towards the ball, then saw that the play had been blown dead. That is 7 points right there.

eli manning
joe montana
Eli wins a superbowl and gets superbowl MVP in season 4
joe wins a superbowl and gets superbowl MVP in season 3
the list is longer then just these 2. Romo is strictly a fantasy football qb. He cant win in the playoffs and has done nothing to be compared to even eli. But romo has had good success with blonde country singers

C'mon Tony Romo's 28, Dan Marino, Joe Montana and Jon Elway could have retired at 28 and been in the Hall of Fame. Brady had 3 SuperBowls at 28. Eli Manning is 27, Big Ben is 26 and both far more accomplished than Romo. Don't use the argument of "well he only started the last 2 years", there is a reason, he wasn't as good at a young age as those guys, he was backing up an over the hill Drew Bledsoe, not Brady or Peyton Manning or somebody good.
Terrel Owens is one of the top 5 receivers of all time....Philly's secondary is better than Dallas....Enough about that call already, it wasn't that bad!!! They had no choice but to call the replay how they did, even if you lost the game the call wasn't as bad as the San Diego call.
