These are the little red things growing up off the LR. They are only about 1/8 inch high.. I hope you can see them in this pic. Not the coraline but the little things growing up from it. They are pretty cool looking and I can't imagine that they will be of any harm - just curious.

My guess would be Forminiferans also.

it's a form of red mushroom coral and they r semi-aggressive and require ample space and good water conditions

I would say forams too, but it is a bit hard to tell (photo is a bit far away). These are very common in tanks, but may come and go in blooms of sorts.
Interesting tidbit: For those tropical places that claim to have "pink sand beaches," it is due having a large component of these skeletons in the sand.

I have seen those time and again in my tank as well.Do they come in a bright orange color?Because I have something that looks like that,only they are orange.
