Would you pay $1,500 for this?

Not speaking to their hardiness, but when you have a pricey fish in a tank you watch the water parameters much more closely. My "special" tank gets water changes 10:1 over the other tanks. If I blunder with one of the others, I'd be sad and out 30 bucks. If I lost the special fish, I'd be sad and out a whole lot more. Trust me, you are really careful with that "whole lot more".
True, true.

Like wich one?
eiblii, lemon peel, rusty, bi color, all those have similar colors or features...there are many other pygmy angels that'll fit the bill without spending hundreds or dollars...even some coral beauty's have a lot of yellow in the body of them.

The common angels never caught my eye, but this one did so there is definitely an appeal to it the other's don't have.
I don't know why people feel the need to flame. The internet has made some nasty people. Most of what was said to him was not constructive.

We just had this discusion on my local forum. It is commonly called a ebili x lemonpeel hybrid. They are inexpensive and come from Haw. one of my LFS is ordering a few. Definitely not $1500 !!!
Anybody that wants to buy one from me for $1500 let me know and i'll pick up an extra few at the LFS!!

Lemonpeel x Eibli hybrids do not come from Hawaii. The only place that finds them is Christmas & Cocos Keelings. And even then, the Eibli is not present there, so the hybrids you do see, have somehow traveled to those islands.

$5 says you'll end up with a Lemonpeel x Halfblack hybrid, which are VERY common.
