I went to my LFS yesterday and saw this beautifull angel fish - for the last 2 months each time I go I look at this fish and ask about it and keep reading the price wrong.
I assume the price is $150.00 (apparently my mind cannot accept the other zero)
So my question is would you pay 1500.00 for a fish?

They had it listed as a Japanese Impertaus (sp?) Angel
I just cant imagine spending that much - like Shu-perman said - what if it died -
I guess it is all realitve to how much do you make compared to how much you can spend I just cant imagine spending that much on ONE fish

it is a georgious fish, but i would never spend taht much for anything in my tank.
first of all, id feel bad spending 15 hundred on anything that has no realy purpose in life except to look pretty when there is so much poverty in this word.
and second of all, if it died/was eated/anything of the sort, id be ripped.

Is that a dwarf angel?

Like everyone else, there's NO WAY I would put anything in my tank that cost that much. I've often looked over the soft corals that SWF has, and laugh at the one they have for $1500, very pretty, but uhhhhhhh, NO.
Besides, I don't think that angel would get along with my $25.00 coral beauty angel

I'm not a even a reef guy, but you gotta admit...that's a hell of a nice fish.
If I had $1500 to throw around, on nothing more than a fish, I'd definately pick it up.

if i had 1500 dolars to blow on a fish instead i would upgrade to a larger tank. people pay that much on dogs or birds but it just seems like alot for a fish. Maybe If I had a really large tank and I mean big and i had alot of maoney I might spend money like that on a shark or somthing but thats not reality. let me tak a moment and dream
