As a cowboy fan I am torn on this. However the news comes from "sources" and has been wrong before. I will wait till it is comfirmed before I weigh in fully.

i would agree with PACMAN but not Burress... he was a good teammate that royaly messed up off the field...

I dont think Plaxico has been convicted of anything yet, but as far as being a team distraction, selfish and an elitist, he easily the most distractive, destructive person on that team. He will always have a giant ego and never mesh well with other players.

Doubtful though, since Jerry Richardson is very intolerant of this type of behavior.

You raise a good point here. TO, for all of his antics, never shot anyone, beat up women, drank and drove, used drugs. He's just a very arrogant, abrasive personality. It's unfortunate because if he could have just toned it down, he would be regarded as one of the top 10 receivers of all time... now he's just regarded as a jerk.

I heard this too. Are they having a fire sale in Dallas or what? Roy Williams is a guy that most teams would love to have on their roster.
Secretly, I think that Jerry is playing ESPN... Letting them run with this and gloat then say just, where did you get that? I'm not cutting them at all...

Sure, if don't mind giving up 6-8 touchdowns a year on 60 yard passes.
They were shopping him around to trade him...but then restructured his contract instead. I can't see them cutting Roy after restructuring his contract.
