Sure, if don't mind giving up 6-8 touchdowns a year on 60 yard passes.
They were shopping him around to trade him...but then restructured his contract instead. I can't see them cutting Roy after restructuring his contract.
6-8 long touchdowns??? I'll take that!!!
Sincerely,
Lions fans

You raise a good point here. TO, for all of his antics, never shot anyone, beat up women, drank and drove, used drugs. He's just a very arrogant, abrasive personality. It's unfortunate because if he could have just toned it down, he would be regarded as one of the top 10 receivers of all time... now he's just regarded as a jerk.
And I actually thought he behaved a little better last year...

But in some of his old interviews he explains that "this is me". I think he's arrogant too, but I also think that this is what makes him T.O., he lives and breaths this attitude, just like Alli or Mike Tyson, they forced themselves to believe that they were untouchable. I think T.O. pumps himself up to this level, thus allowing him to produce like he does. If he were to take attitude management classes, or humble himself to being a quieter person, he would probably be an average player at best. There are a lot of athletes like this out there.

This just his blown coverages on a good defense.......in the lions case you guys would be spotting 14 points each week....lol
Regarding the release of TO and ROY...as of 10:30 this morning not a single Dallas management person has confirmed this release. The basis of this news...TO and ROY sent Text messages to teammates saying they have been told they would be cut. Yet we hear nothing from the players or the cowboys front office.....seems odd. I remember the last time TO got cut you heard from the front office AND TO right away.......

Cowboys Say No Press Conference Planned
Posted by mickshot at 3/5/2009 11:23 AM CST on truebluefanclub.com
With the media swarming around the entrance of The Ranch Thursday morning, anxiously awaiting confirmation of wide receiver Terrell Owens and strong safety Roy Williams being told of being released, Rich Dalrymple, the team’s director of public relations, informed the group around 11:20 a.m. (CST) there were no plans for a press conference today nor even a conference call with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Jones apparently is in Florida for some NFL meetings.
When asked if the club planned on possibly releasing a statement confirming the two moves, Dalrymple said issuing a statement was a possibility. While Dalrymple did not confirm the reported releases, he also did not deny the moves are being made. There still has been no official word from the organization of the releases, but already several players have traded text messages with Owens, who has said he was shocked when informed he was going to be released. And Williams has confirmed his release to several media outlets.
The transactions don’t become official until the Cowboys send them into the NFL, and as of late this morning that had not yet taken place. Moves must be made prior to the NFL’s 3 p.m. (CST) close of business to become official that day.
Stay tuned.

Why is that a big surprise? I knew it was just a matter of time before that happens. All I can say is Good Riddance!

I guess it's official...
Quote...
"In the aftermath of the season, we talked about change," Jones said in a statement. "Some of what is changing involves the process and some of it involves people. This is a decision that was made based upon consideration for an entire team.
"We will move on now with a new team - a new attitude - and into a new stadium. The evaluation process and the prospect for change will continue at every level of the organization."

I heard this too. Are they having a fire sale in Dallas or what? Roy Williams is a guy that most teams would love to have on their roster.
Well, except for the whole attempted suic..... uh, took too many pi||s deal....
But agree. In a league of supposed 'alpha males' its hard to believe that T.O. is the 'most alpha' and there's really no one that get him inline or be able to stand against his abrasiveness. Otherwise, yea, he's a clean, trouble-free guy....

See that is what I don't understand. He may be abrasive, but he is wanting the ball more! Who doesn't.
Personally, I think he is just ESPN's whooping boy. He called out their love child McNabb, and they are out to get him.

Having the ultimate a$$hole, Drew Rosenhaus, in your corner also doesn't help your reputation.

T.O. is second in the league in drops last year, was there some sort of incentive to lead the league? Is that why he wanted more passes thrown to him?

I hope the Raiders are the only team interested in him.
Cowgirls will be awesome with Roy Williams as their lead receiver....He would make a great #4 in Arizona.

His problem is that he isn't politically correct. I guess the cowboys go on the list of teams that need a tampon dispenser in their locker room now. And now they are playing scape goat which is a chicken____ game to play.

T.O to Buffalo!! Definitely mixed feelings. The Bills for the first time in nearly 15 years have an honest to god threat on the field. The Bills are a hungry organization to win, and he definitely makes the Bills better. TO could walk all over Jauron, Edwards, and Schonert, if he wanted, but hopefully he realizes this is really he last shot at an organization that will win.
Also, it guarantees the Bills get their 2nd Monday night game in 10 years (got one last season).

Yeah,
T.O. goes to a not so glamorous team (no offense Aquaknight) hopefully we won't have to hear about him as much as when he was in S.F., Philly, and Dallas.

Totally agree here. He has a lot to offer this team, I just hope they accept him and harness his talent. This will either be a team turned around and into the playoffs, or another Brett F. story where a player goes out as a no-name because of their last stint. Time will tell....

but the Bills??/ I mean come on they have NO chance to win the division- they will go no where- they will not even break 500 this year- I truely think there was No other teams interested and they just wanted to sign quickly to make us think there were other teams involved
