What's the current headcount of active members on this board? Take that and divide it by the 10 - 15 'regulars' who post in The Aquarium, and you will see how insignificant the useless posts in this forum really are, and how few members bother to read the threads that are contained here.
The Aquarium is just a place for people to vent the frustrations they have in their daily lives. They see and hear news stories that 'get under their skin' because of the atrocities and ignorance of the people behind them, and they need to tell 'someone' what they think about it. Others just need a shoulder to cry on, or want their anonymous 'brothers and sisters' to help them through a personal tragedy, or celebrate a happy event. Before forums like this, you're only options were to go talk to a 'man of the cloth', or a 'head doctor' lying on a couch.
