avoid the cleaner wrasse, they have poor success rates in this hoby and should be left in the ocean.
sixlines are really mean and will give new additions problems

I've had a cleaner for a year now and he eats everything the other fish eat. He also drives my other fish nuts doing his job.I added an Angel sometime back that was loaded with ick(I didn't see it on him at the LFS) needless to say that Angel stayed close to the cleaner, within days there were no signs of ick.I wouldn't purchased a sixline because of their aggression. Advice: research the fish you want to purchase beforehand. Enjoy your tank!

some are territorial and just as many arent. mine never bothered anything smaller or bigger and it was the 1rst fish in my tank. of small fish damsels, psuedochromis and smaller hawfish are in another league of aggression compared to sixlines.

No matter what anyone tells you, you roll the dice with a sixline. They are the only fish given the nickname Jekyll and Hyde and for good reason. My sixline is my favorite fish. It is also the fish I would not add to my tank if I had to restock

I bet a lot of it has to do with the size of the confines some sixlines are kept in....
I am sure it does my friend; I just don’t think it is the primary issue. A aggressive sixline is going to be aggressive no matter what the surroundings IMO

Yeah, some people get lucky some people don't. It's just a fish i wouldnt chance. Ive even heard people adding mandarins and the sixline going nuts and trying to kill the mandarin
