My son tells me he wants a wireless adapter for his XBOX 360
Can anyone tell me if this is the right item??
I just want to make sure there is nothing else I will need...

hmm, I've never seen that one, not sure what the second antenna is for, but I have the first one you posted and it gets me online, wirerlessly.

I just called GameXCHange and asked them...apparently the black one is new, and it gets a much better signal

It's only $10 more......
You ever have any problems with the one you have?

Unless those are wireless N wireless adapters, and you have a wireless N router, tell your kid that having the xbox wired is going to be better because it is a much FASTER connection.

The dual antenna wireless adapter works on N wireless networks (the latest/greatest) as well as A/B/G. The single antenna works only on A/B/G wireless....

I've been rocking the original xbox wireless (which is compatible with 360/PS2/and others) for 5 years now. No problems whatsoever....

bahaha, you should have seen the wires in our apartment in college. 20 guys ,2 27 inch TVs, 4 xboxes, a giant switch, and about 100 cables of some sort or another all this in a 1000 sq ft apartment. If we were at the big one.

The first week he was there, he was playing with a friend with "wired" controllers.....another friend came in....YUP...tripped over the cord and smashed his XBOX 360......
That night the friend bought him a new one

He now also has "wireless" controllers

Batteries are expensive. Back in my day, 3 or 4 years ago. Wireless controllers didn't work because they all worked on the same frequency.
