I don't know how to draw on the pics...your xenia looks whitish..the pink is all the way to the left in front of the green plant stuff, and towards the back glass directly behind some xenia and to the right of some xenia

Ok I know what your looking at now, it looks red to me. It is a type of macro algae. It started growing out of nowhere, and i like it so i kept it. Here is how it started

and here is what it turns into. I have to cut it back every now and then.

I just had one split and looks like the other is on its way. It has been in tank for about 3 weeks. Mine is not as tall. Is there a difference? I love the look of it. I hope to have the same LUCK
with mine. LFS credit!!!!
 
man thats a sweet lookin tank just clip the xenias from the bottom closes u can go to the LV and sale it!! make some mad money!

Ok, I looked and im pretty sure that it is Halymenia sp. but yours is prettier than any of the ones I found. Have you ever considered fragging it? I would love to have some!

I wish I knew what kind of algae it was. I have been throwing the excess out. Maybe I should try to sell it. I'll post it in the macro algae section.
When my xenia spread a single stock splits into 4 and they grow these nubs on them that attach to another part of the rock. They multiply fast.
