I've been looking at Yardright as a Southdown substitute as well.
Anyone know why the Yardright web site says this:
"Not suitable for aquarium systems and traction purposes." http://www.yardright.com/sand.htm
Why are they saying its not suitable for aquarium use?
Javatech,

how can you tell which types of sand are ok for aquariums? cuz i live in Canada and not sure if our Home Depots will carry either brands. What should i look for?
Thanks Osolow, yes I know the site is down right now. My host raised their prices and I had to change, just haven't had the time to move everything back online.
Later,
