I have a few of these that run through my sand. I don't know if they're bristle worms because I've never actually seen "bristles" on them, but I don't know if that means they're not related. They look more like earth worms to me. They do a good job of getting those hard to reach areas :)

I take it no one has seen any of the 4 foot ones that hide during the day. Now those are ugly and can hide amazingly well in a medium sized tank.

I have a bristle worm in my tank that I'd say is 12-14" and as big around as my pinkie, scraes the hell out of me everytime i see it.
Also, I'm not sure if bristleworms are big fans of the sand itself., I have loads of them in my tnak and when i upgraded from my 90 to my 120 and I was scooping out the sand I didn't find a single bristleworm actually in the sand, many hiding under rocks and in rocks, but not one in the sand itself.

LOL… Meowzer, you are supposed to look at your tank from the front view, not underneath.

LOL.....When you have a sump, refugium, killer skimmer, phosphate reactor.....you spend a lot of time checking out the "underside" ANYWAYS....I was drinking wine last night

You really ought to look at your tank from below......you would be amazed at what you see

So I've heard, you wanna come over and pluck him out for me so i can put him in my sump?
Nope..I had a huge coral eating fireworm a few years ago...waited until night..shined a blue light in the tank..plucked him out with a little robo-arm gripper I had..and I let him die outside....
Lost a lot of coral and my big anemone to him.

Is that finger growing a beard or is that bristles from a bristle worm?? I have only seen 1 bristle worm in my tank but he was nice size round 5 or 6 inches I would say. For some stupid reason I am going to get up walk on my broke toe and go look underneath my tank.
