might be a reef addict if you dump your girlfriend/boyfriend cuz they were eating into the tank budget!! some girls just dont understand!

this was the reason my last g/f was dumped she required more maintence then the tank!

Hey! Maybe one could take some of their larger fish in there for a swim....and a person could even swim with your fishes on nice days. Couldn't you just immagine acclumating them in a large bucket at pool side everytime you and your fish went in for a swim! Lots of fun. I could just see myself swimming with a large blueface angel now....Yep, I guess I must be just a little bit addicted!

If you approve of your 17 year old daughter's boyfriend (the ones with extra large holes in his ears) because he works at the fish store and tells you when the new corals and saltwater fish arrive, you might be a reef addict.

You might be an addict if -- you can't be trusted to go to the LFS alone.
You might be an addict if-- you try and convert all your firends to your sick hobby so you have someone to talk to about it... (really, try it, all the cool kids are doing it!)
You might be an addict if -- you cancel plans to go out when one of your corals "isn't feeling well" or doesn't look so good

whoops.
well then u may just be a reef addict when you tank value is higher than your car's.
You may be a reef addict if you took out a second loan on your tank, instead of your house!!!!!!

You might be an addict if you have more pictures of your tank and fish in your phone or camera than you have your kids or other things (i dont have kids lol just saying)

you might be a reef addict if you pay $50 for a 1/2 by 1/2 for a frag of coral
You might be a reef addict if you know the dimensions to every tank

Is there a way to get an equity loan on a reef tank???

It would be nice!!! I bet I could get a $5000 loan at least if I could compile all of my equipment, fish, coral, etc.
Although I'd be more worried about paying off the equity on my tank than my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I am guilty of a few previously mentioned items.
Waking up early to work on the tank. (Feed, water top off, stare) I've been late to work sometimes because of this.
Can't wait to get home to stare at the tank before doing anything else.
Sign on to saltwaterfish.com at work before answering e-mails.
Buy exepnsive camera to practice taking macro shots of the tank critters.
Paid in-laws to care for the tank while on vacation, even provided training before hand.
There are more signs, but thinking about them makes me more addicted.

You might be if you work 7 days a week just so you can afford to add something to your reef tank
You might be if you cut back on beer just so you can get that new coral you have had your eye on, when the side work isn't coming in and you have to waste the paycheck on things like rent, gas, and electricity.

If you lose everything fish wise in a 150 rearrange your tank and am so anxious to get fish again cause you almost think your startin over. Spend so much money over and over again trying to make your tank perfect. Battle algae to the death no matter how bad it got and won!!!!!!!!!! Happy reefing all!
