When your wife says I am feeling Frisky and you know to pop a little blue pill to make SURE your solider is ready for action. Heard that one from my Neighbor next door he is in his 50's this weekend.
That is not a sign of age...it is a sign of bad arteries. That's why so many have died from heart failure after taking that little blue pill. I know there must be plenty of very old men in their 70s with no problems at all.

when you try to read the paper and your arm isn't long enough and you yell to the wife that is sitting next to you were are my glasses. And she say there on your head.

"That's so funny I forgot to laugh." And if you saw the original comedy show who used that line then you are old too.
Hehe... I figured that one would get a comment or two.
How about this one. You know your old when your cell phone flips open to use it. (Or if you have the Jitterbug phone {Google it if you don't know what it is}) Better yet:

Or,
You know you are old when you are standing behind your kids at the computer and you say, "tell the computer to do this", or "ask the computer this"? This ain't Star Trek people.

Old people and technology is funny!! (present company excluded; as you can use the computer already)

My son has the new IS4 i phone and you can just talk to it. Star Trek here we come.
LOL. Yup, But Siri is a bit lame. It does not work that well. Most people don't even bother to use it besides showing folks who have never seen it work.
If you want I can PM you one of the funniest Siri parody's out there. It is a bit vulgar but funny as all heck!!! let me know.

You are looking at the glass half empty my friend. Getting older is a blessing, consider the alternative.
Who wants to die healthy? ...not me, I want to die so old I could care less when it's time to leave this life.
My thinking....Just as God in his wisdom made teenagers so hard to live with, that we kick them out to go live on their own and grow up...he made the body break down and age so we won't kick so hard at the next stage of life ...going on to meet him after we have gained some wisdom and understand a few things. I can't do what I used to do either, I find ways around it as much as possible.
I know there are some who would keep their kids in the house forever because they are such a delight to have around, and those who have a strong healthy body even in old age...but that is not the average person.
Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you feel about what happens to you.
So Ironeagle, I for one am glad you are around...you may not feel as good as you used to feel, nor does your body heal like it once could, but the respect you earn as life goes on...makes up for it a bit.
I once read that a persons life is greater at the end than the beginning, as a child, who knows what kind of person they will be...At the end of life, it is known.

I know what you are saying on that one Flower but when your looijking at your 2nd Shoulder Surgery to Repair the Rotator Cuff and about 6 Ligaments and 3 other things your own body ripped to shreds in less than 30 seconds it is like WHY ME. I know I am going to be one of those people that goes into the grave telling the World to Kiss his BUTT as I have used up everything there is that could be used up in life but I would like to go more than 4 years between Shoulder Repairs.

Thing is Limpid if I drink anything with any Booze in it including NyQuil well lets just say let the Show begin. Right now I am dealing with a Torn pectoral Muscle Torn Bicep Tendon and 2 torn ligaments all the right Side plus a 80% tear in the Rotator Cuff. Yet my Insurance Carrier Medicare gotta love them is saying I DO NOT NEED SURGERY they want me to have PT first. Since when does PT fix torn Rotator Cuffs or Torn Muscles or Ligaments. The best thing is the Pin that was put into my Shoulder to hold the head of the Humorus bone in place well last siezure it POPPED out and it is floating in my right arm someplace near somenerves because at times my arm goes numb. Don't you think it needs to be removed THEY do not. I destroyed 150K worth of the best knitting that could be done in 30 seconds last time I hate to see what I am going to do as I get older.
Vicadin 7.5 is my Best friend anymore. I take one at night so I can sleep once I go to sleep I can sleep just have to get the pain down so I can sleep. Morphine makes me Seize so it is out. Best one was Darvacet BUT THE FDA took it off the market but it WORKED FOR ME BIG TIME.

Jeff in my Normal GTC Siezure of Grand Mal Siezure I dislocate my Right Shoulder to the point I have a choice go the the ER to have it popped in or do it myself ALA Mel Gibson in teh Lethal Weapon Movies does. I normally do teh Mel Gibson routine as it allows me to move it faster. This last one however it has not healed at all. So my Normal doc ordered Xrays they showed the pin moved and she ordered the MRI and she went OH CRAPPP when she got the results. She forwarded them to our local Orthopedic Doc that does take my Insurance and he is going I need to get an Authorization to have Surgery. Medicare is fighting that saying it is not that bad yet they have the results from teh MRI. So I am praying I get the HELP I need.
