yep, and then those guys get to come home some day and try to lead a normal life. My Dad can tell horror stories of his several tours of Nam, Special Forces-Green Berets. It would make your hair curl. It took him several years to adjust. And I still believe in his sleep he is not really sleeping.:nope:

The way some of them are talking and the two-way dialogue, it sounds almost like a simulator exercise. My father used to take my brother and I to simulator exercises on the base's open house days. Not saying that it is, but it sounds a bit like a video VR-23 copy of a sim. Eh, who knows.

well, let's just call it real. lol. I know if I had a loved one over there, I'd feel better seeing this. We obviously have the tech advantage over there, ya think?? I don't know what kinda rounds they are using. I'm thinking depleted uranium explosive tips. Watchyathink?

My Dad is actually living outside Atlanta......mine was stationed in Fort Bragg. HE STILL wants to jump out of perfectly safe airplanes. :nope: doesn't, but would if he could. Just retired Colonel, you still wouldn't want to piss him off. He "slept" with a gun in his hand on his chest for a good year after his last tour of Nam .:scared:

I've got two years until they can drag me into war. I'll go because I want to make sure that my future kids have the same privelages I do, but man I sure don't want to. If they start a draft, I'm just going to sign up. I hope I don't have to though!

I lived 6 years of my life at Ft Bragg. And my father and brother both jump out of perfectly safe planes. Although my brother is currently sitting with the 1st AD in Baghdad.

Read my post regarding my Dad....I still don't think he really sleeps. :nope: I think it has something to do with months and months of thinking you could be killed at any minute.
