Something I am curious about is where do the hitchhikers come from.
Are you finding them on uncured rock that you cure yourself or don't cure at all (which I read you shouldn't do) or on cured rock you buy online or from a LFS. And how long was it till you started noticing these things? Are they quick to show up, years?
The idea of finding some hitchhikers on the cured rock I bought at the store is appealing and I've been checking every few days to see if I'm noticing anything. Which is probably pointless since it's only been a few months

sometimes months, sometimes years. new things are always surfacing. i get alot of hitch hikers on pieces of coral also.

its a hairy crab they are not good for reef tanks not only do they eat small corals they eat small fish as well.

Got a harliquin(SP?) shrimp, feather dusters, red shrooms, and what looks like watermelon shrooms. Did some research and had to take the shrimp back due to eating requirements.
