I've had pods eat up my healthy zoas. This is why i took them all out of my main tank and put them into a frag tank with eggcrate so the pods have a harder time reaching them.
I would look at them every night with a flashlight and all my zoa colonies would be covered in pods.
They are much better now in the frag tank
